Ground Effects is a landscape design / build firm that is dedicated to the development of extraordinary residential gardens and properties.

Since 1989, the firm has been designing, constructing and planting for a discerning client base throughout New England. Combining landscape architecture, horticulture and field experience, our diverse staff helps create beautiful gardens and living spaces with a team management perspective to the design/build process. Our rare combination of designers, horticulturists and construction experts bridge all the gaps between initial concept through the design and construction phases of any size project. Ground Effects process is interactive, including the client as an important part of the team. Our design team works directly with the client to define the design objectives that will ensure a successful project. Our goal is to be the client’s single source for the entire project, from design implementation to aftercare.

Landscape design is truly a tradition rooted in art. Our professional team combines nature and the homeowner’s needs to create an outdoor space that is functional and will stand the test of time. Bridging the space between landscape architecture and garden design, our projects begin with a hand-drawn artist’s rendition of your property. The designer will literally “live in your space” as he designs the project, ensuring your yard is beautiful and practical. We utilize sustainable plants and tree elements, taking whatever we can from the existing property, so the result is natural and seamless.

Here at Ground Effects, LLC. We know a thing or two about creating custom pieces that really bring the “wow” factor. Maybe you’ve got a specific sculpture that needs the right base and lighting to showcase it, or possibly you’ve got a unique boulder on your property that you’d like to somehow use in your pool surround or in your grotto.
